Nazarene Theological Seminary

The Shelter Services Assistant, in the absence of the Shelter Services Supervisor, is responsible to oversee all shelter related evening activities, help coordinate the overall evening Mission activities, refer problems and concerns to appropriate KCRM staff and in general assist in providing a stable, safe and spiritually wholesome environment at the Kansas City Rescue Mission.

Qualifications desired: Some College Education.  Administrative Experience a plus.  Helpful if previous experience with homeless populace.
Attitude:  A positive and upbeat yet firm and assertive disposition- able to work with difficult clients regularly both to befriend and encourage, but to hold accountable.
